The University is looking for qualified and experienced individuals for the following position:

Main Purpose of the Jobs

• To teach and educate undergraduate and graduate students in an academic discipline and to build the knowledge base of a Business, Management and Entrepreneurship through research and publications.
• To administer certain teaching activities and assist in curriculum development exercises in the department.
• To improve their academic credentials and to establish themselves in relevant areas of research in the department.
• To be active in some form of professional service

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Education:

A minimum of PhD in Management or related area and ability to teach the following courses:-

• Innovation, Intellectual Property Rights & Commercialisation  
• Finance
• International Business

Experience:

Post PhD teaching and research experiences are added advantage.

The position requires the following Competencies/Skills:

• Excellent oral and written English skills
• Good knowledge of the academic discipline environment
• Knowledge of research methodology
• Peer-reviewed publications and other evidence of professional engagement
• Ability to communicate complex and conceptual ideas to those with limited knowledge and understanding as well as to peers using high level skills and a range of media
• Ability to facilitate student learning using Problem Based Learning (PBL)
• Ability to synthesize information to design a learning experience
• Ability to prepare and submit proposals and applications to external bodies, e.g. for funding and accreditation purposes.
• Computer proficiency
